Volunteerism has assumed considerable importance in Mashal’s strategy to achieve broader outcomes in education. Our voluntary program includes engaging volunteers and change agents externally as well as encouraging the students to become volunteers themselves.
We provide community services to school and provide recommendation for foreign countries admission requirements.
Mashal has a community-based approach that aims at enhancing the overall wellbeing of the community through education, social mobilization, creation of job opportunities, skills enhancement and protecting and promoting the dignity of the individuals.
Teachers’ training and capacity building workshops also conducted to address the learning needs of the teaching staff. A number of workshops have been conducted for teachers to build their capacities.
Three extensive workshops take place every year which all the teachers participate. Teachers’ training also significantly addressed the issues of higher dropout rates and absenteeism among students.
Attendance rate went up by 85%.
